Tiny Herbarium

I collected and pressed specimens of flowers throughout the month of March. Walking often and noticing what was suddenly in bloom, which snowdrops were still holding on, the forget-me-nots peeping up but still biding their time til April.

A saddle-stitched booklet of 48 x 70mm (slightly tinier than A8) with watercolour illustrations and handwritten botanical and common plant names. This was a gift for a friend. I find time and again there is no better way to creep around a creative block than making something thoughtful for those I adore.
